11 more weeks to P.O.P.

BMT doesn't seem as bad as it could. Life is so much easier with some fun buddies inside. Besides the disciplinary actions from the Sergeants and Sirs and the very boring lectures, I seem to enjoy everything inside from the physical training to the road marches and foot drills.

I feel so healthy inside, hopefully I can selected to be a physical training instructor after BMT since my IPPt result is not so bad after all, besides Chin Ups, I just need one more to a pass. I ran 11.15min for 2.4Km run, I'm aiming a 9.4min by the end of BMT, 9.8 sec for Shuttle run, 48 for sit ups, and 246cm for Standing Broad Jump.

Anyway, I really need to treasure my 48 hours outside, I find everything outside Tekong is so bloody precious, especially my family, elieboo, my bed, my warm shower, my friends and the movie experience.. etc etc, haha, 2 years be gone soon!

LA

Just watched Southland Tales which is a science fiction/drama/black comedy. It has an ensemble cast starring The Rock, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Justin TImberlake, Mandy Moore, Seann William Scott, etc..

Basically it tells an alternate world of 2008 and it's political issue as well as the World War 3, depicted with a wicked sense of black humor. Overall, i feel that the movie is a piece of crap (some parts are seriously nonsensical) but it makes me feel that Richard Kelly is a genius to have made this film.

USA military even started using tribal fonts for their logos, wow.



Sarah Michelle Gellar plays Krysta who is an adult tv/porn star, she even has her own label for perfume, energy drink, apparels and accessories and reality show that talks about teen sex. She even sang her own pop song entitled 'Teen Horniness is not a Crime'. Hows that..

Boston Celtics finally won the championship of the Eastern Conference with a 4-2 win over Detroit Piston.
The Eastern Conference Game 6 just ended today, 89 - 81 win over Detroit Piston. Celtics played a beautiful game with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen at their assists and scoring, Paul Pierce had a remarkable play too with rebounds and putting in 25 points. Posey is the best defensive player of this game and Perkins with great rebounds.



Finally, after a huge decline since 1987, after the death of their top draft pick Len Bias, the team made a come back with their power forward kevin Garnett and shooting guard Ray Allen. It seems that recapturing their glorious period of 7 years straight domination over the NBA title, 1959 to 1966, is a rather long quest.



Whom they are going to fight against in the 2008 NBA title is none other then L.A. Lakers, a no stranger in the game. Since the late 90s till now, Kobe Bryant switched jersey no. 8 to no. 24, he uphold the legacy of L.A. Lakers, and with Phil Jackson, the head coach who won 9 titles in the NBA history, (that is since when he was still coaching Chicago Bulls and its Michael Jordan) is not going to be an easy game to play against.



I bet this is going to be the most exciting NBA finals of the decade. And this is going to be Kevin Garnett's first entry into the NBA finals.
